Fall 2025 Candidate-Eligible Committees
As a part of your journey toward membership, every candidate is required to serve on two (2) committees during their candidate semester. These roles provide hands-on experience in leadership, event planning, and professional outreach.Vice President Lindsey will assign candidates to their specific committees based on a preference survey distributed at the beginning of the semester. If you are unable to fulfill your specific committee requirements, you must contact the Executive Committee to arrange a make-up opportunity, such as participating in an additional committee task.

Members plan and organize "Meet the Firms," a speed-networking event designed to help students prepare for the career fair. The committee ensures students gain practice speaking with professionals while learning about career paths in accounting and finance.

This committee visits lower-level accounting classes, specifically Intermediate Accounting I, to recruit new members. Members share personal experiences and highlight the benefits of joining Beta Alpha Psi to encourage early involvement.

Coordinate a celebratory banquet that recognizes high-achieving students in ACG2021: Principles of Financial Accounting. Responsibilities include organizing event logistics to ensure students' accomplishments are honored professionally.

Supports accounting professors by helping proctor exams. Members of this committee gain professional responsibility experience while building stronger relationships with faculty and serving as role models to peers.

Partners with local high schools and community colleges to host Accounting Preview Day (APD). This committee introduces prospective students to the accounting field, leads campus tours, and shares academic opportunities at USF.

Supports the planning and execution of the annual Golf Tournament, which is the chapter's largest fundraising event. Members coordinate logistics with firms and participants to raise funds that support BAP activities.

Focuses on maintaining strong connections with BAP alumni by updating records and facilitating communication. This ensures alumni remain engaged with current members and chapter initiatives.

Organizes the final event of the year, the Scholarship Banquet. The committee is responsible for celebrating the dedication, leadership, and academic success of members, candidates, and scholarship recipients.
