Jamie Worth – Grant Thornton

Jamie is a current audit associate at Grant Thornton in their Boston office. Below is a small synopsis of her bio:

“I interned with Grant Thornton in the Tampa office in Spring 2011 and began full time in the Boston office January 2012. My first busy season is off to a great start. I have been working on a public client in the technology sector, but I am also scheduled on manufacturing, healthcare, and not-for-profit clients in the future.

Principles of Financial Accounting was the first business course that I found to be truly challenging, and I enjoyed that aspect of it. I learned a lot about the profession from my TA and from the BAP through my undergraduate career. As I’m starting out, I found that the work is challenging, and it changes from day to day. There is always something new to learn.”
