Professor Cainas originally grew up in a small town outside of Ithaca, New York. After attending a small university in Pennsylvania for one year, she decided to pack all of her belongings into her car and move to Tampa in 1988. She attended the University of South Florida from 1991-1996, was a member of Beta Alpha Psi Delta Gamma Chapter, earned a Bachelor of Arts Degree and a Master’s Degree in Accounting, and is a licensed C.P.A. in the State of Florida. During her professional career, she worked in the financial services and insurance industries, and most recently was a controller for a Fortune 500 company prior to returning to USF full time as a faculty member.

Aysel has previously served as Vice President of BAP and President of Accounting Society, among many other roles. She graduated with her Bachelor’s degree last fall and completed an audit internship with KPMG prior to returning to USF to begin the MAcc program. Upon completing her Master’s degree, she will begin full-time as an audit associate at KPMG. In her free time, she enjoys watching movies, hanging out with friends, and eating her favorite food, buffalo shrimp.

Mark is a veteran Beta Officer returning this semester as VP. He is an avid technologist who is constantly learning about new ways to improve our organization’s functions. He recently interned with EY in the Media and Entertainment Advisory Service Line and will return in Spring of 2018 upon finishing the MAcc program at USF.

Briley is pursuing a dual degree in accounting and finance and will be graduating in December 2017. She previously held the leadership position of Scholarship Banquet Co-Chair and is excited to hold another leadership role this semester as treasurer. Following graduation, she will be interning in the audit practice at Deloitte & Touche LLP, and has plans to return to USF to complete the MAcc program while studying for the CPA exam. Outside of school and work, Briley enjoys staying active, cooking, and spending time with friends.

Mark is a motivated accounting student currently completing his masters at USF while also working as a TA for Managerial Accounting. He is excited to start working in the Financial Services Office of EY after graduation. In his free time, he likes hitting the gym with the hope of one day getting buff.

Andrew is pursuing a degree in Accounting, and will be graduating in Spring 2018. At which time, he will seek a MAcc, and pursue his CPA certification. Over the summer he will have completed an accounting internship with the International Diamond Center. He enjoys reading, and hanging out with friends.

Yoni is a passionate transfer student looking towards his Master’s and CPA. During the past Fall semester, Yoni interned with EY’s Media & Entertainment division. Yoni is returning as a Beta Officer from last spring. Yoni is definitely a nerd; he enjoys building computers and eating sushi!
