    PRESIDENT

    Hi! My name is Salvador Pizano, and I am a senior majoring in Accountancy and Analytics. I am looking forward to a tax internship in the Spring and have plans to return to USF for my master's degree and to study for my CPA. 

    BAΨ has not only helped me improve my professional skills but also introduced me to a wide variety of people whom I am very grateful to have met. I believe there is a unique strength in everyone's differences, and I hope to continue to learn from those around me. As the Fall 2026 President of the Delta Gamma Chapter, I wish to leverage everyone's strengths to improve our chapter and give back to others as they have given to me.

  • Yarelis Crespo Acevedo

    VICE PRESIDENT

    Hi! My name is Yarelis Crespo and I'm currently in my first semester of the Master of Science in Accountancy and Analytics degree. I have just completed an audit internship with PGP this summer and have another upcoming internship in the Spring with CLA. While I'm pursuing my master's, I will also be studying for the CPA exam. 

    My time in BAP has helped me grow both professionally and personally. This community has provided an encouraging and safe environment in which we can all learn and grow with each other. My goal is to aid and encourage every candidate and member to do what they're afraid of and step out of their comfort zone. I'm excited to be serving as Vice President this semester!

  • McKenna Hagan

    TREASURER

    Hi! My name is McKenna Hagan and I’m so excited to serve as your Fall 2026 Treasurer! I am a senior majoring in Accountancy and Analytics. After graduation, I plan to pursue my Master’s degree in Accounting & Analytics and then my CPA certification. I currently work as an Accounting Clerk at a local CPA firm, Frank Artz Tax and Accounting. 

    Joining BAP has been an amazing experience. It has brought me so many new connections and friends, helped me grow professionally, and helped me build confidence networking and working with so many different people.   • Jada-Karrie Watson

    SECRETARY

    Hello! My name is Jada-Karrie Watson, and I am a senior majoring in Accountancy and Analytics at the University of South Florida. I have gained wonderful professional experience participating in the EY CHARGE program, an audit simulation, and the Expedition EY career discovery program. After graduation, I plan to continue here at University of South Florida in their masters program.

    Beta Alpha Psi has been a tremendous highlight of my university career, providing invaluable spaces to build lasting connections and receive mentorship from peer buddies and professionals alike. As an officer, I look forward to contributing back to this community by supporting our members' academic and career advancement while expanding professional networking pathways so everyone can navigate their career journey with absolute confidence!

    Hello! My name is Madison Yoak, and I am a senior majoring in Accountancy and Analytics. I completed a high school internship with CliftonLarsonAllen in Tampa and was fortunate enough to return this past summer for a State and Local Government Auditing internship in their Pittsburgh, PA office. I plan to stay at USF to pursue my Master's degree, which will prepare me to earn my CPA license.

    My time in Beta Alpha Psi has been incredibly rewarding. I've gained a meaningful community, grown professionally, and become more confident along the way. As your Reporter, I look forward to showcasing our chapter's impact, highlighting our service to the community, and strengthening our connections with alumni by sharing their experiences and advice.

  • Maya Miller

    INFORMATION SYSTEMS DIRECTOR

    Hello! My name is Maya and I’m a senior majoring in Accountancy and Analytics. I have internship experience in both private accounting and tax, and I plan to pursue a master’s degree in accounting at USF and obtain my CPA after graduation.

    ΒΑΨ has been the highlight of my college experience because of the amazing people I’ve met along the way. It has given me the chance to network with companies, form lasting connections, and step outside my comfort zone. As IS Director, I will manage our chapter's communication channels and website presence, ensuring members have clear, organized access to everything they need. I look forward to supporting our members and helping them feel confident navigating the chapter!

Delta Gamma Faculty Advisors

  • Jennifer Cainas

    FACULTY ADVISOR

    Jennifer M. Cainas is a professor of instruction at the Lynn Pippenger School of Accountancy and currently serves as the Associate Dean for Financial Management and Business Operations for the Muma College of Business at the University of South Florida. Jennifer currently teaches large, mass lecture classes for introductory financial and managerial accounting. 

    During her teaching career, Cainas has taught and mentored over 25,000 business students and has won numerous teaching awards at the college, university, state, and national level, including the J. Michael and Mary Anne Cook/Deloitte Foundation Prize in 2024. She is also the faculty advisor for the Delta Gamma Chapter of Beta Alpha Psi and received the national outstanding faculty advisor award sponsored by RSM, both in 2023 and in 2013.

    Cainas completed her Doctor of Business Administration from the University of Florida and bachelor’s and graduate degrees in accountancy at the University of South Florida. She is also a licensed CPA in the State of Florida.

  • Luke Richardson

    FACULTY ADVISOR

    Luke Richardson is an associate professor of instruction and Kerkering Barberio Fellow in the Lynn Pippenger School of Accountancy. He teaches courses in taxation of individuals and business entities and is a past recipient of the Advisory Council’s Outstanding Teaching Award. He also serves as a faculty advisor for the Delta Gamma chapter of Beta Alpha Psi.

    Richardson, a licensed CPA and lawyer in Florida, worked with Deloitte prior to taking his position at the university. He serves as an editor and author on Pearson’s Federal Taxation textbook and has published articles in practitioner journals such as Tax Notes, The Tax Adviser, and the Journal of Accountancy. He also continues in his professional practice and has been featured as a tax expert in many print and television news media outlets.

    Richardson completed a juris doctorate at the Stetson University College of Law and bachelor’s and graduate degrees in accountancy at the University of South Florida.
