In previous semesters, scheduling has been an issue for the fundraising events. To help with this issue, please fill out this Fundraising Survey.
The Accounting Circle is giving a presentation titled “Everything You Need to Know About the CPA Exam but Were Afraid to Ask.” The event will be held on January 28th, from 1:00 to 4:00PM. If you are interested in attending this presentation, please RSVP to Sue Gramby.
This week’s meeting and social room has changed to the BSN board room 221 located across the hall from our regular meeting room BSN 225.

The Beta Body Fitness Committee is hosting their First Annual Tennis Tournament. Please read the attached flyer if you are interested in participating and e-mail Michael Gauthier if you have any questions.
The International Business Board at the University of South Florida is hosting the Florida Student Summit on Global Business. The purpose of the summit is to bring like minded students together from across Florida who have an interest in global business across all industries, not just business. The summit is being hosted at the Marshall Center Ballroom on Friday, February 10th from 8:30AM to 4:00PM. For more information on the summit and to register, please visit FSS event.
USF Student Government is sponsoring free tax services from H&R Block for all USF students. H&R Block will be in MSC 3701 on Wednesday January 25th from 10:00AM to 2:00PM; MSC2706 on Wednesday February 1st and February 8th from 10:00AM to 2:00pm; and MSC2702 on Wednesday February 15th from 10:00AM to 2:00PM.
Beta Alpha Psi and the Student Finance Association are sponsoring a special presentation titled “Risks and Rewards in the Finance Industry” by Charles H. Conner Jr. The event will be held in the College of Business atrium on Tuesday January 31st from 5:30 to 7:30PM.

Dues must be paid immediately! Member’s dues are $65, and candidates dues are $140. Dues can be paid to Puja Patel, or using PayPal.
Candidates must turn in their unofficial transcripts to Jessica Diaz immediately!
Deloitte is hosting a social on February 6th from 6:00 to 8:00PM at Game Time in Ybor City. Sign ups are available on the BAP Website.

AICPA is awarding scholarships to outstanding accounting students from across the country. AICPA scholarships not only help future CPAs with tuition costs, they provide leadership and networking opportunities to create strong business leaders. Scholarships range from $2,500 through $5,000 are available to students who have maintained a overall GPA of 3.0, enrolled full-time, and plan to pursue the CPA license. Member Spotlight:
Aly Anzalone
Aly was born in Brandon, Florida but was raised in Plant City. Currently, Aly is finishing up the MAcc Program, graduating this semester, and will be moving on to completing her CPA exam with the help of Becker Fast Past in Summer 2012. In her free time, Aly enjoys playing volleyball, watching movies and reading. In fact, Aly enjoys reading so much, she reaches out to the authors of her favorite books and helps to moderate their online forms. In return, Aly receives a signed copy from each author!! Over the years, Aly has acquired a large book shelf of signed novels and tries hard to find the time to sit back and enjoy a great novel!
Paul Vizzo
Paul was born and raised in the freezing cold atmosphere of Boston, Massachusetts. After working in a variety of industries, Paul decided to give up the cold and head to the Sunshine state. Currently, Paul is graduating with his bachelor’s in accounting this semester will be completing an Advisory internship with E&Y during Summer of 2012. In his free time, Paul enjoys reading, traveling and exploring different locations across the country. He also spends some of his free time restoring and rebuilding classic cars. His favorite car in which he enjoyed working on the most was a 1966 Chevy nova.
