Welcome back members! I hope that you have found the summer to be refreshing and reinvigorating and that you are now ready for another great year in Beta Alpha Psi. To reflect our drive to improve alumni relations and intraorganizational networking, the officer team has chosen the motto, Connected Through Excellence.
I take great pleasure in telling you that our chapter has again won the KPMG Gold Challenge for the second year in a row. Also for the second year in a row, we had a member on the winning team for the Project Run With It case competition at Nationals this year, sponsored by Moss Adams. Congratulations to Crystal Davis for all your hard work – you have made the chapter proud.
Despite our successes at Nationals this year, we cannot become complacent. The competition was fierce ! This year our goal is to win Best Practices at Regionals and then at Nationals. In addition to that, we will also compete for the E&Y Diversity Initiative and start volunteering with VITA – two other national award categories. Our success in these arenas depends upon you! We need you to put your excitement and enthusiasm for Beta Alpha Psi to work. If you have ideas for new ways to connect with professionals, the community or each other, do not hesitate to bring that to the officers! We want to help you implement these ideas and bring them to fruition!
To help get things started, your officer team and committee chairs have been hard at work preparing a busy semester for all of us full of interesting and exciting events and networking opportunities.
